I forgot to tell you a few other things about myself. I have ben playing bass guitar for the past two years. I have seen a total of one concert in my life- The White Stripes on July 24 2007 at Madison Square Garden. I have also seen two Broadway shows- Wicked in 2007 and Young Frankenstein yesterday(October first for those of you to unfortunate to have a computer but not a calendar). I am a huge fan of Rock, Alternative, Metal and Punk.
I just today realized how easy it was to go from a Catholic school for the past nine years of my life to a Public High School. It is kind of annoying though because you are taught in different ways at Catholic School and because their is a lot more Public Elementary school kids that go there a lot of what you learn this year would reflect what the Public Schools taught rather then what the Catholic Schools learned, such as a paper with two book choices and thesis questions the Public Elementary Schools made last year, but Catholic School did not.
Wow this is probably the longest blog I have ever written. Oh, and for those of you who don't know what Salute Your Solution is, it is a song by The Raconteurs, another band starring the amazing guitar player and lyric writer, Jack White of The White Stripes. It comes from their second CD Consolers of the Lonely, which I did find to be a great CD, but not as great as their first CD Broken Boy Soldier. I find it kind of strange how in interviews The Raconteurs don't really like to call Broken Boy Soldier a real CD, more of a demo because in my mind it is one of the best CDs a person can buy and then listen to.
Well from the wonderful prison of Oz, this is Allan saying farewell.

Allan,
Thanks for the comment! That was an activity we did in my CP II class last week, and I decided to participate as well. I can get you the original short story that it's based on if you'd like (it's called "Girl" by Jamaica Kincaid). I'm very jealous that you saw the White Stripes...I "saw" them at Bonnaroo 2 years ago but I was so far away I could only see them on the giant video screens!
Keep up the good blogs!
