The top ten!(Horror Films)

Well hello all you silly people who spend your free time reading about my rants and raves. Today, in honor of Halloween tomorrow I've decided to tell you my top ten Horror films.
Warning- This is not for those who have bad taste in movies.

10- Nightmare on Elm Street by Wes Craven. This movie tells the story of teenagers trying to fight off the evil Freddy Kruger who can only kill you in your sleep.

9- Edward Scissorhands by Tim Burton. This movie was about poor edward trying to get through his life while being stuck with.... well... scissor hands.

8- Return of the Living Dead by Dan O'Bannon. This is the sequel to the epic blockbuster Night of the Living Dead.

7- 28 Days Later by Danny Boyle. This movie is about 28 days after the Rage Virus spreading all over Great Britain turning people into viscous monsters. A small group of survivors are left trying to escape to safety.

6- Disturbia by D.J. Cauruso. This movie has many of the elements of the Alfred Hitchcock film, Rear Window. This suspenseful film tells the story of three teenagers who suspect their neighbor of being a wanted murderer.

5- Halloween by John Carpenter. This movie tells the story of the cold blooded killer, Mike Meyers' quest to kill a teenage girl and her friends and family.

4- Cry_Wolf by Jeff Wadlow. This is by far one of my favorite movies on this list for a few reasons. The movie is about a group of college students who begin to receive strange instant messages from the screen name cry_wolf after starting it as a game after a girl was murdered. As the movie goes on student by student are getting "murdered" by a man on the same screen name claiming to be the real murderer who is telling them the way they described him was perfect, but after one person in the group is left and he suspects his teacher, he shoots his teacher only to find his friends safe and sound. They explain o him that it was only a prank they played on him the police come and arrest him. I suggest this movie to anyone who loves horror and suspense.

3- Sweeney Todd- The Demon Barber of Fleet Street by Tim Burton. This is another great movie. It tells the story of how Benjamin Barker became Sweeney Todd. After the judge sends Benjamin to jail for many years so that he can take his wife, he comes out of jail as the man Sweeney Todd. He plans to exact his revenge by killing the judge, and everyone else by slitting their throats while he is giving them a "shave". The dead bodies are also used for Mrs. Loveitt's meat pie shop.

2- It by Tommy Lee Wallace. This is the film adaptation of the Steven King novel with the same name. It is a monster named Pennywise the Clown. It terrorizes a group of young kids, but they try to fight back. They eventually are able to stop It, or so they think. After several years they are called to a little get together back at the old town, but as soon as they arrive things get just as bad as they were. It starts to terrorize everyone again. Blood filled balloons and several deaths involved until they can finally defeat it, who turns out to be a giant spider-like creature with a light on it's stomach that will stun you if you look into it.

1- Friday the 13th by Sean S. Cunningham. This is one of the granddaddies of horror. This is big. The movie has spawned over 10 sequels and horrible costumes for ten year olds. It follows new counselors at Camp Crystal Lake, a camp that had been closed for over twenty years due to a child being drowned and two counselors who were murdered the next year. The movie follows a twenty-four hour time period of murder and blood. You never get to see the killer until the end of the movie in the shape of Mrs. Voorhees, a "kind" old lady who shows up at the camp at night, but eventually tries to kill the last survivor. It is later revealed that the child who drowned was her son, Jason Voorhees. She is killing everyone because she blames them for the death of Jason. The movie was also filmed at the Boy Scout camp I go to every year, camp No-Be-Bosco.

The Hybrid Kid. Part 2

He is now twenty years old. He has been training, and killing now for ten years of his life. There were a few... bugs... in him. He seems to think he can go off and do what he wants. We've had to go out and find him nearly seven times now, only to find him out at bars or drinking with people he just met. I think we will be taking him to the lab for a little bit of a re-programing.
He has also been complaining about his living arrangements. He seems to think the white room has become a thing of the past. He thinks we should give him a real room. It is starting to disgust how he thinks he controls his life. He is our experiment. We control him. He has no right to complain. We gave him all these amazing powers, and we can easily take them away from him.
There is also one more problem. He seems to have discovered that the missile that "accidently" hit his parent's plane wasn't really an accident... His parent's used to work for us, when we found out about the child, we kindly asked to use him, but no, they thought it was wrong. The whole reason they were on that plane was because they were trying to get home to there child, but we couldn't let that happen.
It's time to go get the boy, the monster, our monster. I will keep you updated as things go along.

The Hybrid Kid.

It took almost ten years. Twenty other kids lost over ten years of experiments. This one child, experiment twenty-one, or Ron has somehow survived. The experiments started over ten years ago when president George Bush Sr. wanted to create super soldiers, but not any kind of super soldiers you can think of. He wanted kids. The project was to be kept top secret, and if anyone tried to tell a soul then they were sent very far away. Ron has somehow been the lucky one.

He has the genius of thirteen army generals stored in his hat. His big eyes help him to see further than any normal human. Underneath his Army uniform is his skin, which was genetically mixed with three different types of metal. He was given the name Ron from the uniform he was given. Formally belonging to the now deceased soldier Ron Jerry. For some reason he never smiles. He always has the same nervous look on his face. I think he realizes what he was made for. He realizes that he is part man part monster, in the sense that he is a living, breathing killing machine. I don’t think I would smile too much if I knew that I was made for the purpose of killing other human beings.

It shouldn’t be long now before we can finish his tests. Everything on him seems to be working perfectly. Until he is shipped off we will keep him locked up in what we call the white room. He always asks the same question, “What is the purpose of a life that is made to end everyone else’s?” I feel bad for the poor kid sometimes, I know if it was my child I would have killed those dam scientists years ago for the torture he’s going to endure. Sadly Ron has no parents for that. Both of them died in an accidental launch of a military missile at a plane the two of them were on during a flight back from Haiti, but that’s all water under the bridge now. Ron is only seven years old, the only thing that he needs to know now is that we are his family.

I can here him being dragged out his room for the last few tests. I can hear him screaming in agony as they lock him down to a steel reinforced table and roll him down the hall. I believe they will be doing some more bomb disarming tests. He usually does pretty well on those. Ron doesn’t realize it now, but he is quite possibly the greatest weapon the world will ever see.

The Sixth Wall(Wonderwall)

Well I'm back to write another blog for you to waste precious time on. I've posted six other blogs and I don't think I ever mentioned my Youtube account. www.youtube.com/user/sleepingdemons. I've been making Youtube videos for about a year now and I still have yet to have someone say a good thing about them! It's ok tho because even I think those videos are pretty stupid. They do help pass the time tho.
I also don't think that many people realize this but they song in my title usually has something to do with my life. Wonderwall is a song by the band Oasis and it's pretty much how I feel about this girl right now, but she doesn't seem to feel the same about me. Oh well. I'm sure it's not very fun having to read about the problems in my life, but to bad! You choose to read this blog.
I have to find a quote this week for my English class that relates to me. Too bad my teacher has no idea that I have a quote in mind as soon as I was assigned to do it. I'm not gonna put the quote up tho because I don't want anyone to know what it is!
I also realized how hard it is to write a book! I've tried so many times but after about 3 pages I'm out of ideas. Apparently I am a very good poet according to my English teacher last year. Apparently I also wrote a pretty good short story last year, but good luck finding the kindergardener I had to write it for. He has the only copy, and he seemed to like it a lot so good luck getting it from him.
Well thats really all I have to say at the moment. I want to try to put up some more interesting blogs soon. Maybe I'll write a very short story and put it in my blog one day.
Well, this is me telling you and you and you goodbye for now.

The Fifth Wall(Four Winds)

Mythology. What can I say about it? Well whenever I hear someone mention it I usually think about Zeus, Hades, Athene and all the other Greek gods, and for some reason it also makes me think about the Bright Eyes song Four Winds. It also makes me think about a lot of urban legends such as The Devils Tower and The New Jersey Devil. It also makes me think about some of the Egyptian gods, which I don't know if people realize this but they are essentially myths as well.
My favorite myth is the story of Icarus. It is a story about how Icarus and his father Daedalus tried to escape prison. His father was a craftsman and built the two of them a pair of wings made out of clay. When they try to fly away the wings seem to be working well until Icarus decides to fly up higher closer to the sun. As he goes up higher the wings start to melt. Daedalus warns his sun to go down but Icarus doesn't listen. In the end Icarus' wings melt and he falls to his death. It's a very pleasant story, isn't it?
Well that's all for now people, GOODBYE!

Breaking The Fourth Wall(Walk Hard)

Well this is it, blog number five. The Fourth Wall! Yay! Five blogs and so far I have one comment on almost every blog!
As I bet you can tell from the title I had the extreme pleasure of watching an incredible movie called Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. This movie follows the fictional, Johnny Cash like character,  Dewey Cox(John C. Reilly). It tells of his life full of drug addiction, sexual addiction and music addiction. It has several cameos by other famous actors and musicians such as Jack White playing Elvis Presley, Jack Black as Paul McCartney, Frankie Muniz as Buddy Holly and Jonah Hill as the ghost of Dewey's deceased brother, Nate. This movie is also filled with amazing songs such as Walk Hard, Let's Duet and Beautiful Ride. It is an extremely funny movie and an extremely catchy song about finding yourself in it's own right. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants a good laugh.
This week has been a very fun one. Theater Arts has got to be my favorite class as of this week(no offense Mr.Morone). I hung out with a few people I haven't seen in a while and I made a couple new friends.
Well is been a beautiful ride so far. Hopefully there are still many more blogs to come!
From the valley of the river, this is Allan saying goodbye, for now!

An attempt at something good.

I really don't have to do this, but I like it when other people waist their lives reading things i write. This is based on the same style as "Girl" by Jamaica Kincaid.

Sing in the car; sing the your shower; don't sing in the locker room; this is how to use a bluetooth; this is how to use a bluetooth without looking like a psycho; you can swim with the fishes; you can fly with the birds; you just can't do it in the same day; it's better to be weird than it is to be normal; don't treat everyday like it's your last; treat everyday like it's your first; the truth may hurt, but not as much as a lie; this is how to write a paragraph; this is how to write an essay; I expect it on my desk next Tuesday; grind your meat, not your teeth; if you want to make friends, say hi in person, not online; words may not break people's bones, but they can crush a person's spirit; if something wasn't meant to be, then make it meant to be; they say television rots your mind; I didn't know watching the news would make me an idiot; never question yourself; always question everyone else; love yourself; love friends; love strangers; love enemies; hate me; this is how to spell; this is how to read; this is the dictionary; have fun

The Third Wall(Salute Your Solution)

I forgot to tell you a few other things about myself. I have ben playing bass guitar for the past two years. I have seen a total of one concert in my life- The White Stripes on July 24 2007 at Madison Square Garden. I have also seen two Broadway shows- Wicked in 2007 and Young Frankenstein yesterday(October first for those of you to unfortunate to have a computer but not a calendar). I am a huge fan of Rock, Alternative, Metal and Punk.
I just today realized how easy it was to go from a Catholic school for the past nine years of my life to a Public High School. It is kind of annoying though because you are taught in different ways at Catholic School and because their is a lot more Public Elementary school kids that go there a lot of what you learn this year would reflect what the Public Schools taught rather then what the Catholic Schools learned, such as a paper with two book choices and thesis questions the Public Elementary  Schools made last year, but Catholic School did not.
Wow this is probably the longest blog I have ever written. Oh, and for those of you who don't know what Salute Your Solution is, it is a song by The Raconteurs, another band starring the amazing guitar player and lyric writer, Jack White of The White Stripes. It comes from their second CD Consolers of the Lonely, which I did find to be a great CD, but not as great as their first CD Broken Boy Soldier. I find it kind of strange how in interviews The Raconteurs don't really like to call Broken Boy Soldier a real CD, more of a demo because in my mind it is one of the best CDs a person can buy and then listen to.

Well from the wonderful prison of Oz, this is Allan saying farewell.
