A Dream Worth Fighting for.

My Goal

Goals are like relationships, they aren’t always going to turn out to what you hoped, but you can make them worth your while if you work hard for them. The people who can make it in life are the ones who have something they are living for. They have something they are fighting their lives to get to. Like their own buried treasure that they are trying to reach. Not everybody is able to reach his or her dreams though. They get caught up in little goals that will only last them a short time.

My ultimate goal in life is to write, direct, and star in a critically acclaimed rock opera and move to Massachusetts. I plan on studying film at the New York Film Academy.  I have already made several YouTube videos. I always find directing videos to be something that is very fun to do. Directing a major movie would help me make a lot of money. With all that money I could move to Massachusetts and begin the sequal. I love rock music and I love to sing. I also love rock operas like Tommy, The Wall, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and American Idiot. I plan on getting there by writing a script, pitching it to a production company, if they want it I would have to be the director and lead actor. My friend and I are already writing a script and planning everything for the story.

Many people would get to caught up in other things that could prevent them from reaching their ultimate goal. Some of the things that could keep me from directing and writing films would be not saving any money and spending it on other things, procrastinating and spending time doing other things. I will prevent myself from getting too distracted by spending the time when I’m not hanging out or I’m just plain bored to write a little bit of the movie.

Not all goals can be reached. If you really believe in the dream you have, you should go for it. Chances are it couldn’t hurt to at least try.
